2026 AgriStability Enrolment

As the 2026 program year begins, new enhancements to AgriStability are available to Saskatchewan producers. The program is designed to better support operations in challenging conditions.

Whether you are a returning participant or considering enrolling for the first time, here is what you need to know.

New Enhancements for Livestock Producers

Starting in the 2026 program year, AgriStability has adjusted feed inventory valuation for livestock producers. This permanent change ensures the fluctuation in inventories intended for on-farm use – not for sale – are valued more accurately, especially in dry years. It helps program calculations better reflect farm realities.

Current Allowable Expenses

AgriStability covers a range of expenses, depending on your operation:

  • Grain operations may claim:
    • Storage and drying
    • Fertilizer
    • Herbicides and pesticides
  • Livestock operations may claim:
    • Veterinary fees
    • Containers and twine
    • Livestock and feed supplements
  • Common expenses for both grain and livestock operations include:
    • Fuel
    • Freight and shipping
    • Production and price insurance
    • Electricity
