In Saskatchewan, Agriculture-Applied Research Management (Agri-ARM) facilities play an important role in producer-directed research and demonstrations. There are eight different sites throughout Saskatchewan, each focusing on a range of research projects, demonstrations and technological advances. These facilities provide producers with region specific research on soil quality, pest management, intercropping, crop varieties and many other practical tools related to crop and forage production.

The primary objective of Agri-ARM sites is to increase the adoption of innovative agricultural production technologies and practices by producers through extension and knowledge transfer. The sites deliver unbiased, third-party research results while also working to raise public awareness of agriculture's role in areas such as environmental stewardship.
Each year, Agri-ARM sites host a variety of field days and winter meetings. These events showcase the latest research findings and offer valuable information to local producers, industry representatives and anyone interested in learning more. Seeing the research firsthand - within their geographic region - helps producers better understand new practices and evaluate how they might apply them on their own operation. In addition to learning about new innovations, field day attendees can ask questions, engage directly with researchers and presenters and network with others in the industry.
Here are the field days scheduled this year. If you are interested in attending an Agri-ARM field day, check out their websites:
