International Kindergarten to Grade 12 (K-12) Students
On November 3, 2020, the federal government amended travel restrictions for international K-12 students interested in studying in Saskatchewan. International students must follow the new federal requirement when travelling from outside of Canada. The Greater Saskatoon Catholic International High School Program, Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, Briercrest Christian Academy High School, Luther College High School, Lutheran Collegiate Bible Institute, Regina Christian School, and Rosthern Junior College High School have approved COVID-19 readiness plans that comply with provincial and federal government health and safety guidelines. Please contact those K-12 educational institution for pre-arrival, arrival and post-arrival information. International K-12 students will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result to the airline prior to boarding international flights bound for Canada and must follow a mandatory 14-day quarantine period upon arrival in Canada.
International Post-Secondary Students
On October 20, 2020, amended federal government travel restrictions allowed international students to enter Canada if a designated learning institution has an approved COVID-19 readiness plan. International students must follow the new federal requirements when travelling from outside of Canada. The University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, Sask Polytechnic, Briercrest College and Seminary, Cumberland College, Eston College, Great Plains College, Lutheran Theological Seminary, North West College, Parkland College, Saskatoon Business College, Southeast College and St. Andrew's College – have approved plans that comply with provincial and federal government guidelines. These institutions are meeting strict health and safety guidelines. As an international student, there will be pre-arrival requirements [including proof of vaccination] and a 14-day mandatory quarantine for you and co-arriving immediate family member(s).
