Focus on Farming Event in Humboldt
By Rikki Wilson, AAg, Livestock and Feed Extension Specialist, Humboldt
December 2025
Building on the success of our first event earlier this year, the Humboldt Regional Office is excited to once again host Focus on Farming for Humboldt and surrounding area.
Join us on February 13, 2026, as we dive into farm and ranch succession planning and farm economics led by local experts and extension specialists. Our keynote presentation comes from The Retiring Farmer, a Saskatoon-based financial planning firm. Their team will share practical strategies for creating a succession plan tailored to your operation. Joining them will be a lawyer, producer and investment counsellor to provide additional perspectives.
We’re also pleased to welcome Cynthia Beck, a registered provisional psychologist and beef cattle rancher, who will offer valuable advice on managing relationships through succession planning.
