2. Share
Share a post on Facebook or Instagram highlighting your recycling efforts. This might include:
- sorting recyclables
- rinsing empty beverage containers before recycling
- participating in clean-up initiatives at school or home
- educating others about recycling and waste reduction
- taking empty bottles to SARCAN
Entries must include a short caption explaining the recycling initiative and its impact.
3. Tag
Tag us (@SKEnviro and @SARCANRecycling) and use the hashtag #SKRecyclingHero in your post.
Contest Guidelines
- Entries must be original and showcase your own recycling activities.
- Multiple entries are allowed, but each entry must be unique.
- Make sure your profile is set to public so we can see your entry.
- The contest is open to all Saskatchewan residents.
- Once the submission period ends, a panel of judges will select the top 10 entries, based on criteria such as creativity, impact and adherence to recycling principles.
- Out of the top 10 entries, the public will be invited to vote for their favourites by “liking” them.
- Top three winners are selected based on total number of votes/likes.
- The decision of the winners is final.
