Air quality modelling simulates how air pollutants spread out in the atmosphere. They are used to estimate the concentrations of air pollutants from emission sources. They can help determine whether existing or new proposed industrial facilities comply with the ambient air quality standards.

The following models are the approved standard and specialized models recommended for air quality studies in Saskatchewan.
