Recognizing the Positives of Screen Time

It is true that screen time is not all bad, but too much screen time can be harmful. Digital technology offers many benefits and it is important to note that many children and teens are using technology in many positive ways. From staying connected to friends to doing research for school, from discovering new hobbies and interests to developing teamwork skills in online games, digital technology offers countless benefits. It is also worth noting that being too restrictive with digital technology can negatively impact mental health, especially for teens. While it's a tricky topic for parents and caregivers to navigate, finding a healthy balance is important for the well-being of children and teens.
