TRAVEL ADVISORY – HIGHWAYS IN THE GRAVELBOURG AREA

Recent heavy rainfalls in south-central Saskatchewan caused temporary closures

on Highways 19 and 363.



When travelling in the Gravelbourg area it is recommended traffic from the west

use Highways 4 and 43 and that traffic from the east use Highways 2 and 43.

Southbound motorists to Gravelbourg can use either the route from Swift Current

(4 & 43) or Moose Jaw (2 & 43).



Current highway conditions include:



Highway 43 – open – from the Junction of Highway 19 to the Junction of

Highway 4;



Highway 19 - closed – the bridge over the Notukeu Creek is flooded;



Highway 363 – reduced traffic – traffic is down to one lane in two

places between Hallonquist and Hodgeville due to extreme erosion.
