Released on March 1, 1999

Deputy Premier and Crown Investments Corporation Minister Dwain

Lingenfelter announced today that Frank Hart will be the new president

and chief executive officer of Crown Investments Corporation. Hart's

appointment takes effect on March 16.

"Frank Hart has a record of success in both the private and public

sectors," Lingenfelter said. "He has worked with businesses which are

key players in the economy of our province. As deputy minister of

Economic Development he played an important role in creating a climate

for development and job creation in Saskatchewan. We are very pleased

to have Mr. Hart leading CIC."

Hart is a vice president with KPMG Canada's National Management

KPMG he has provided management consulting to corporations,

Canada.

"Public enterprise is a big part of Saskatchewan's economy and

contributes a great deal to the growth and development of our
