SGI DONATES VEHICLE TO CITIZENS ALL

Released on December 20, 1999

Citizens All of Moose Jaw received an early Christmas gift from SGI today - a

1997 Dodge van. SGI President Larry Fogg today handed over the keys to the 11-

passenger van to the Moose Jaw non-profit association. SGI will also cover the

van's registration for one year.

"I am happy to be making this donation to Citizens All, just in time for

Christmas," Fogg said. "SGI's supply of salvage vehicles provides an excellent

opportunity to give back to the community. This van was received by SGI

Salvage needing some body work done. In the spirit of the Christmas season,

staff at SGI Claims Technical Services have worked to restore this van. I am

sure Citizens All will put it to good use."

Citizens All provides services for individuals in the Moose Jaw area with

challenging intellectual needs. The non-profit association operates four adult

group homes, and also runs three community-based programs that provide daily

support for individuals living independently in their own homes.

"I'd like to express my gratitude to SGI for this generous donation,"

President of the Board of Citizens All Association Liz King said . "This

vehicle will certainly enhance the ability of Citizens All to be fully involved

in the many activities offered in the community. The next step for Citizens

All will be to make the vehicle wheelchair accessible."

"Citizens All has been providing a much-needed service to the Moose Jaw

community for over 25 years," Fogg said. "The work these professionals do

every day gives individuals with intellectual disabilities the chance to enjoy

and participate in a full community life. We hope the donation of this vehicle

will help Citizens All continue their great efforts."
