CABINET TO MEET WITH COMMUNITY GROUPS IN NIPAWIN

Released on August 24, 1998

Premier Roy Romanow said today the provincial cabinet will hold a

meeting Aug. 25 at the Nipawin and District Regional Park, Chalet.



"One of our top priorities is to be open and accessible with all

Saskatchewan residents," Romanow said. "It is also important to

myself and my cabinet colleagues that we hold cabinet meetings outside

of the Legislature."



Following the morning cabinet meeting, the minsters will meet with

various community groups in Nipawin and area.



In the evening the premier and cabinet ministers will attend a

fundraising dinner at the Evergreen Centre, sponsored by the Nipawin

and District 4-H Clubs.
