The Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP) is a five-year, $485-million investment by federal and provincial governments in strategic initiatives for Saskatchewan agriculture.
The five priorities of the partnership are building sector capacity, growth and competitiveness; climate change and environment; resiliency and public trust; market and trade and science, research and innovation.
Programs for Farmers and Ranchers
Funding to support farmers and ranchers, including the Farm and Ranch Water Infrastructure Program (FRWIP), Resilient Agricultural Landscapes Program (RALP) and Animal Health and Biosecurity Program.
Programs for Agri-Businesses or Industry Organizations
Funding to support agri-businesses and industry organizations, including Saskatchewan Lean Improvements in Manufacturing (SLIM) and the Product Development Program.
Programs for Research
Funding to support research and development activities, including Agriculture Development Fund (ADF) and Ag Demonstration of Practices and Technology (ADOPT).
