The Saskatchewan Detailed Occupational Outlook is one of the three key reports developed using the Ministry of Immigration and Career Training’s Labour Demand Model and provides labour market information for 416 occupations.
Guided by Building the Workforce for a Growing Economy: The Saskatchewan Labour Market Strategy, this outlook informs the Government of Saskatchewan’s programs, services and strategic partnerships to ensure Saskatchewan’s labour force is prepared for the jobs available to them.
This report also serves as a planning tool for a wide range of stakeholders – including employers, industry associations, educators, training providers, career practitioners and students. It supports informed decisions around policy, workforce development and career pathways.
Information for the 416 occupations is searchable by forecasted job openings for the five-year period, 2025 to 2029, job outlooks, 2025 estimated employment, 2024 wages and the top three major industries in which workers are employed.
