When an incident or accident occurs on a provincially regulated railway, it must be reported to the Government of Saskatchewan.
The Railway Act authorizes the minister to request any additional information that they may require. Accidents and incidents are to be reported within the timelines set out in the act, which will subsequently be investigated by representatives of rail services.
For more information on incident or accident reporting, review the Provincial Railway Guidelines.
Once you have the necessary information, report the incident or accident.
