    • Supports 4,930 jobs across Saskatchewan.
  • Protect health and safety
Aviation enables emergency medical transport, wildfire suppression and delivery of essential services to remote communities.
    • Nearly 27,000 patients have been transported by air ambulance since 2015.
    • 17 aircraft support wildfire suppression across the province.
  • Encourage careers in aviation
The strategy promotes aviation education and training, including financial support for student pilots and partnerships with Indigenous communities.
  • Invest in community airports
Options to enhance the Community Airports Partnership (CAP) program aim to improve and expand funding eligibility to better support community airports.
