Provincial Heritage Property Designation
There are currently over 50 provincially designated properties in Saskatchewan. Any building, structure or site may be designated as a Provincial Heritage Property when it is of architectural, historical, cultural, environmental, archaeological, palaeontological, aesthetic or scientific value.

- Legal protection under The Heritage Property Act that ensures the property's conservation
- Eligibility for grant funding through the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation
- Access to conservation advice and support from Heritage Conservation Branch
2. Eligibility
- Associated with an important aspect of Saskatchewan’s human or natural history
- Outstanding provincial significance
- Retains the physical features that convey the property’s heritage value
