Swift Current Region Transportation Plan

Swift Current

The Government of Saskatchewan is developing a plan for an increase in traffic in the Swift Current area. This plan will ensure the road network can serve the future traffic demands for the city and surrounding area.

The study will focus on highways, municipal roads, and major arterial roads. It will also look into existing issues with the current road network and future needs.

Some of the key issues we are considering include:

  • Busy Highway 1 intersections
  • Traffic delays at railway crossings
  • How to connect the city on either side of the Trans-Canada Highway

The survey is now closed.
