Proposed Amendments to The Tobacco and Vapour Products Control Act

The public was invited to share feedback on the proposed amendments to The Tobacco and Vapour Products Control Act. Feedback will be used to improve the existing legislation to better protect the health of Saskatchewan residents.

Information collected will only be used for the purposes identified for this particular survey. Your participation is voluntary and responses are confidential.

The Tobacco and Vapour Products Control Act

The Ministry of Health is proposing amendments to The Tobacco and Vapour Products Control Act. We are interested in your feedback on the proposed amendments.

The purpose of the amendments are to better protect Saskatchewan residents from the harms of smoking and vaping, and reduce the use of tobacco and vapour products amongst our province’s young people.

This survey will identify specific areas of the Act that the ministry has identified as improvement opportunities for your consideration. Depending on the feedback from stakeholders, the ministry may make amendments to the draft proposal.

The survey included a few general questions as well as questions specific to the Act.
