Highway 2/102 Near La Ronge Safety Improvements

The Ministry of Highways sought input on the recommended plan for safety and capacity improvements to Highway 2 and 102 through Air Ronge, La Ronge and Lac La Ronge Indian Band. The area begins on Highway 2 south of Far Reserve Road in Air Ronge and extends to the La Ronge Airport Access Road.

Safety improvements include:

  • Road improvements;
  • A second or expanded bridge at Montreal River;
  • Pedestrian pathways; and
  • Access roads
