People heading out on the road to enjoy company with dad or a weekend at the lake will notice some work around the province. New construction projects this week include work at Anglin Lake and Greenwater.
“The warm weather means that more people will head out on the roads, but it also means construction season is in full swing,” Highways and Infrastructure Minister Don McMorris said. “We urge all travellers to be aware of construction and set aside more time for travel if they are going to be passing through a work zone.”
Other new maintenance projects underway this week include repair work on Highway 5 near Humboldt and Highway 20 near Lanigan.
Drivers must slow to 60 km/hr in work zones or else face fines starting at $300.
The weekly construction update provides Saskatchewan residents with the latest details on projects underway to help to plan safe and efficient travel throughout the summer and fall.
