Saskatchewan continues to have an abundance of employment opportunities posted on the saskjobs.ca website.  The number of jobs hit 16,504 in June 2013, an 8.54 per cent increase when compared with June of 2012.

“The majority of these postings are full-time positions,” Minister of Economy Bill Boyd said.  “This shows that employers are continuing to create permanent positions, and job seekers have the opportunity to obtain stable, well-paying employment to help establish their futures here in Saskatchewan.”

There were 986,521 visits to saskjobs.ca in June, up by 4.7 per cent on a year-over-year basis.  Mobile device hits totaled 295,421, which was 89.72 per cent higher than June of 2012.  Employers from 327 communities in the province posted jobs in the month of June.

More than half of the jobs are in two categories, sales and service and trades, transport and equipment operators.

“Saskatchewan continues to be a national economic leader,” Boyd said.  “Saskjobs.ca is a fantastic resource for people from both here and abroad looking for new opportunities and to take part in the prosperity our province has to offer.”
