STATE FUNERAL TO BE HELD FOR FORMER LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

A state funeral is planned to recognize and honour the contributions made by former Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Fedoruk throughout her public service and professional career.

The funeral, which all members of the public are invited to attend, will take place on Friday, October 5, at 2 p.m. at Teacher's Credit Union Place, 35 - 22nd Street East, Saskatoon.

Members of the public wishing to express condolences to Fedoruk's family may do so by signing a book of condolence at the Legislative Building or Government House in Regina and in Saskatoon at City Hall or in Room 212 of the Peter MacKinnon Building, University of Saskatchewan during regular hours of operation. Those unable to sign the book in person can send their message via condolence@gov.sk.ca.

Fedoruk, who died on Wednesday, was Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan from 1988 to 1994.
