PREMIER WALL SAYS NO CHANGES TO CABINET

Released on November 10, 2011

Premier Brad Wall today announced the current cabinet will remain intact for the upcoming legislative session expected to start in early December.

"With all 17 of our Ministers being re-elected on Monday, this gave me the option of keeping the current cabinet in place for one more session," Wall said. "Right now, continuity is a big advantage, especially with the tight timelines for the start of the legislative session in December and the provincial budget in March.

"Our ministers have been doing a good job and they were given a vote of confidence by Saskatchewan people on Monday, so I decided no changes were needed at this time."

Wall said he will likely do a cabinet shuffle after the 2011-12 legislative session ends in May of next year.
