BLAKENEY MEMORIAL TO BE STREAMED LIVE TO THE WEB

The Office of the Provincial Secretary will be live streaming the memorial service for Allan Blakeney, Saskatchewan's 10th Premier, on Saturday May 7, 2011, starting at 1:30 pm.

"We would like to invite all Saskatchewan residents, no matter where they reside to have the opportunity to celebrate Premier Blakeney's life and legacy," Provincial Secretary Donna Harpauer said.

Blakeney passed away on April 16, 2011 at his home in Saskatoon at the age of 85 after a short battle with cancer. He served as the Premier for Saskatchewan from 1971 to 1982.
