CHANGES TO FEES AND CHARGES FOR 2010-11

Released on March 4, 2010

Certain fees and charges will see an increase over the course of 2010, with various effective dates.

Changes are primarily cost-recovery. The changes will add more than $1 million to the General Revenue Fund (GRF) in 2010-11 and approximately $150,000 to the Commercial Revolving Fund that funds Saskatchewan's parks, campgrounds and recreational facilities.

The Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission is also implementing changes to its fee structure that will streamline the cost of its services.
