More than 1,900 antlerless mule deer licences are available for purchase beginning August 9, 2010. The licences were originally made available through the Big Game Draw but were not allocated due to lack of applicants.

Antlerless mule deer licences are $19.62 each and are only available to Saskatchewan residents. Hunters also need a $10.79 Wildlife Habitat Certificate before they can purchase a licence.

Licences must be purchased in person at the Ministry of Environment field offices in Assiniboia, Kindersley, Leader, Lloydminster, Maple Creek, Moose Jaw, Melfort, Nipawin, Outlook, North Battleford, Regina, Saskatoon, Shaunavon and Swift Current.

The licences are valid during the archery, muzzleloader and rifle anterless mule deer seasons and hunters may use those firearms that the season allows. The bag limit is two deer for each licence.
