CANADIAN RESIDENT ANTLERLESS MULE DEER HUNTING OPPORTUNITIES

Antlerless mule deer licences are available for purchase by Canadian resident hunters beginning November 23. The season is open from November 25 to 30 inclusive.

The Big Game Management Licences are available in zones 2E, 2W, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 27, 28, 46 and the Saskatoon Wildlife Management Zone. Quantities are limited in each zone and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Canadian residents can purchase a maximum of two licences for antlerless mule deer. The bag limit for each licence is one deer. The cost per licence is $19.62. Hunters also need a $10.79 Wildlife Habitat Certificate before they can purchase a licence.

Licences can be purchased at Ministry of Environment field offices in Assiniboia, Kindersley, Leader, Lloydminster, Maple Creek, Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Regina, Saskatoon, Shaunavon, Swift Current and Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park - phone orders will not be accepted.

Regular antlerless mule deer licences remain available for Saskatchewan residents.

Hunters are encouraged to turn in deer heads to Ministry of Environment field offices for Chronic Wasting Disease testing. There is no charge for the test.
