Highways and Infrastructure Minister Jim Reiter reminds motorists to watch for new and ongoing road work as the construction season continues moving forward.
"A tremendous amount of activity is taking place out there, so please be alert," Reiter said. "Once again, drivers who exceed 60 km/h when passing highway workers and equipment face a base fine of $140."
Work that has recently started or expected to be soon underway includes construction on Highway 7 near Saskatoon; Highway 11 near Kenaston, Hanley and Saskatoon; Highway 16 near Clavet; Highway 35 near Fosston; Highway 39 near Lang; Highway 106 near Smeaton; along with bridge work on Highway 106 at Puskwakau Creek.
