GOVERNMENT OF SASKATCHEWAN ANNOUNCES SASKATCHEWAN ARTS BOARD APPOINTMENTS

The Government of Saskatchewan is pleased to announce the appointment of 10 members for the upcoming 2009-2011 term to the Board of Directors of the Saskatchewan Arts Board (SAB).

"The Saskatchewan Arts Board is a vital part of the ministry," Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Christine Tell said. "The mission of the Saskatchewan Arts Board is to cultivate an environment in which the arts thrive for the benefit of everyone in Saskatchewan."

New members to the SAB Board of Directors include:
• Byrna Barclay, Regina, Chairperson;
• Pamela Acton, Saskatoon, Vice-Chairperson;
• Gwendolyn Arthur, Redvers;
• Dan Cugnet, Weyburn;
• Michelle Hunter, Regina;
• Michelle LeClair-Harding, Saskatoon;
• Joan Quinlan, Regina; and
• Lorna Zatlyn, Prince Albert.

In order to maintain continuity on the Saskatchewan Arts Board, two members have been re-appointed.

• Robert Jamieson, Swift Current; and
• Anne Reinhardt, Eatonia.
