PREMIER APPOINTS FNMR DEPUTY MINISTER

Premier Brad Wall today announced the appointment of Ron Crowe to the position of Deputy Minister in the Ministry of First Nations and Métis Relations.

"I am pleased to announce Ron Crowe's appointment as Deputy Minister," Wall said. "He has done well in the role of Acting Deputy Minster and we are confident in his ability to provide leadership as the Deputy Minister."

Mr. Crowe joined the Ministry in 2007 as an Assistant Deputy Minister. His career included service with the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations and the File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College of the University of Regina.

Ron Crowe is a member of the Piapot First Nation.
