EXEMPLARY CORRECTIONS SERVICE HONOURED

Lieutenant Governor Dr. Gordon Barnhart and Corrections, Public Safety and Policing Minister Darryl Hickie honoured 20 men and women for their career achievements in Saskatchewan's provincial correctional service.

"All of the recipients have made a career commitment to helping keep Saskatchewan citizens safe and free from the fear of crime," Hickie said. "We are pleased to salute you with this award ceremony to commemorate your dedication."

Each recipient receives an Exemplary Service Medal that recognizes 20 years or more of full-time service in the field of corrections. To be eligible, recipients must have demonstrated exemplary conduct and have displayed excellence and devotion to duty.
