Released on October 5, 2007
The Securities Division of the Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission has issued a Temporary Cease Trade Order against Tri Link Consultants., its Director, Debbie Stanton and Klaus Link.
Tri-Link Consultants Inc., based in Regina, provides employee benefits, retirement savings plans and health and welfare trusts for companies, groups and individuals.
Klaus Link, has solicited and managed funds for Saskatchewan investors, and is acting on behalf of Tri-Link.
"The temporary order was issued because Link, Stanton and Tri-Link Consultants Inc. are not registered to trade in securities or act as advisors in Saskatchewan, and, as a result have contravened the requirements of Saskatchewan securities laws," Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission Enforcement Deputy Director Ed Rodonets said. "The order directs these entities to cease trading and advising in securities, and also removes their right to use exemptions under Saskatchewan securities laws."
A copy of the Cease Trade Order may be found on-line at www.sfsc.gov.sk.ca under "Enforcement Orders".
