PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES TO RECEIVE PREMIER’S AWARD

Premier Lorne Calvert announced the names of the recipients of the Premier's Award for Excellence in the Public Service today.

The Premier's Award for Excellence recognizes public service employees in three categories: Innovation, Quality Service and Leadership.

"The recipients of the Premier's Award for Excellence in the Public Service are remarkable individuals who demonstrate a personal interest in the welfare of Saskatchewan people," Calvert said. "I am pleased we are able to show our sincere appreciation for their contributions and achievements."

The individual recipients are:

  • Dallas D.E. Gislason - Regional Economic and Co-operative Development - Leadership
  • Jane Thurgood Sagal - Learning - Leadership
  • David Stanchuk - Saskatchewan Communications Network - Leadership

The team recipients are:

  • BizPaL - Industry and Resources - Quality Service
  • Adult Basic Education Redesign Task Team - Advanced Education and Employment - Leadership
  • Prince Albert Therapeutic Group Home Staff - Community Resources - Quality Service

An independent selection panel reviewed the nominations and selected the recipients, who will receive their awards in the fall.
