PUBLIC INVITED TO WISH LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR FAREWELL

Saskatchewan residents are invited to attend a farewell for Lieutenant Governor Dr. Lynda Haverstock.

The public event will take place on July 29th on the grounds of Government House.

"I encourage everyone to come out and express their warm wishes to Her Honour," Provincial Secretary Glenn Hagel said. "As the Lieutenant Governor, she has served the province admirably, showing her compassion for those around her and bringing warmth and dedication to her role as Saskatchewan's representative of the Queen."

Details of the farewell will be released at a later date.

Dr. Haverstock served as the province's 19th Lieutenant Governor for six years from 2001 until 2006.
