TEMPORARY CEASE TRADE ORDER ISSUED ON INVESTMENT FIRM

Released on August 2, 2006

The Securities Division of the Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission has issued a Temporary Cease Trade Order for a company and individuals involved in "cold calling" investors with offers of investment opportunities in options and currency exchange.

The Order was issued with respect to Wellington Trading Group S.A., Eric Aquavia, Dan Davis, Al Moxey, Ronnie Bethel, Timothy Bell and Russell Finklestein.

Wellington Trading Group S.A., is based out of San Jose, Costa Rica and Aquavia, Davis, Moxey, Bethel, Bell and Finklestein conduct business for Wellington. The company and its representatives solicited investments and obtained money through telephone, fax and mail canvassing. They contacted residents of Saskatchewan, and offered investment opportunities in gasoline and oil options as well as foreign currency exchange. Wellington Trading Group S.A. and the individuals are not registered to trade in securities or act as advisors in Saskatchewan and are in breach of the registration requirements in section 27 of The Securities Act.

Ed Rodonets, Deputy Director of Enforcement for the Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission, advises that "cold calling," which has been a worldwide problem for many years, appears to be on the rise in Saskatchewan. "Cold calling" is simply an unsolicited sales call, generally over the phone offering unsolicited financial products and services. Cold calling for financial products or services is illegal if the caller is not registered with the Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission.

The most dangerous illegal cold calling frauds involves unlicensed overseas organizations or boiler rooms, posing as brokers/investment houses. Companies calling from overseas are required to be registered in Saskatchewan. Persons who have been contacted by Wellington Trading Group S.A. are urged to contact the Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission.

Wellington Trading Group S.A. referred to in this Cease Trade Order is not connected in any way and should not be confused with Wellington Management Company, LLP, Wellington West Capital Inc. or Wellington West Financial Services Inc., which are all registered in good standing in Saskatchewan.

A copy of the Cease Trade Order may be found on-line at www.sfsc.gov.sk.ca under "Enforcement Orders".
