CHANGES TO FEES AND CHARGES FOR 2005-06

A number of fees and charges will change over the course of 2005, with various effective dates.

The departments of Environment, Government Relations, Highways and Transportation, Industry and Resources, Justice, the Saskatchewan Government Correspondence School and the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority will make changes to various fees and charges. As well, SGI will be introducing various fine changes.

The changes will impact the General Revenue Fund (GRF) by $2.2 million this year; with an annual impact estimated at $2.15 million. (The Saskatchewan Government Correspondence School and Saskatchewan Watershed Authority changes do not impact the GRF).

The attached document provides details including effective dates, as well as contact information (while the intent of this list is to be as inclusive as possible, there may be other changes introduced throughout the year).
