PRINCE ALBERT PARKLAND REGIONAL HEALTH AUTHORITY BOARD MEMBERS APPOINTED

Saskatchewan Health Minister John Nilson is pleased to announce the appointments of Brenda Green, Angelique Haysom, and Lionel L. Ferguson to the Prince Albert Parkland Regional Health Authority.

Brenda Green of Prince Albert is an instructor in the Correctional Officer Program at SIAST Woodland Campus. Green has a strong interest in health issues, with a B.Sc. degree in mental health and a Master of Science in Community Health and Epidemiology.

Angelique Haysom of Prince Albert is the Acting Chief Executive Officer for the Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority. Haysom is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a special interest in personnel management, community development, research and health programs.

Lionel L. Ferguson of Prince Albert owns and operates an accounting business. He was employed with Saskatchewan Justice in Prince Albert for 15 years and has been a member of the Army Reserves for 34 years. He is also an active volunteer with several community organizations.

"I look forward to working with Ms. Green, Ms. Haysom, Mr. Ferguson and the Prince Albert Parkland Regional Health Authority as we mark the third anniversary of the release of The Action Plan for Saskatchewan Health Care and the resulting creation of Regional Health Authorities," Health Minister John Nilson said.

"As well, I sincerely thank the current members of the Prince Albert Parkland Regional Health Authority for their ongoing commitment to improving the health of people in their area."

"On behalf of the Prince Albert Parkland Regional Health Authority, we welcome Ms. Green, Ms. Haysom and Mr. Ferguson and know they will make a valuable contribution to our board," Prince Albert Parkland Chairperson Ray Ewanchuk said.
