FALL SESSION BEGINS NOVEMBER 15TH

Released on September 28, 2004

Premier Lorne Calvert today announced the fall sitting of the 25th Legislature will begin Nov. 15th and run to Nov. 30th, 2004.

"We will continue to deliver on the agenda set out in the spring Throne Speech," Calvert said. "In this sitting, we will have a particular focus on the Crowns. We will ensure that they remain public entities, and we provide details on how the Crown utilities will achieve their commitment of having the lowest cost utility bundle in Canada.

"As we head into our 100th year, we do so with energy and ambition," Calvert said. "As we celebrate our proud history, we also look forward with great enthusiasm to a promising and prosperous 2nd century for Saskatchewan."
