SUN COUNTRY REGIONAL HEALTH AUTHORITY BOARD MEMBERS APPOINTED

Saskatchewan Health Minister John Nilson is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Vernon R. Palmer of Coronach to the Sun Country Regional Health Authority.

Mr. Palmer is the Administrator of the rural municipalities of Happy Valley No. 10 and Hart Butte No. 11. Mr. Palmer is involved in the Coronach and District Fire Protection Association as well as a number of other community activities.

"I look forward to working with Mr. Palmer and the Sun Country Regional Health Authority as we mark the third anniversary of the release of The Action Plan for Saskatchewan Health Care and the resulting creation of Regional Health Authorities," Nilson said.

"As well, I sincerely thank the current members of the Sun Country Regional Health Authority for their ongoing commitment to improving the health of people in their area."

"On behalf of Sun Country Regional Health Authority, we welcome Mr. Palmer and know he will be a strong addition to our board," Sun Country Chairperson Earl Kickley said.
