OUR FUTURE IS WIDE OPEN MERCHANDISE NOW AVAILABLE

Released on July 2, 2003

Saskatchewan enthusiasts can now buy their own Our Future is Wide Open gear.

Pens, pins, visors and T-shirts bearing the province's marketing logo are the items that are available for purchase at Tourism Saskatchewan stores throughout the province.

"Since launching the campaign, we've had many inquiries from people asking where and when they can get their own Our Future is Wide Open merchandise," Industry and Resources Minister Eric Cline said. "People have really warmed to the wide open message and now they can take that message with them wherever they go."

The items can be found in the five Tourism Saskatchewan visitor centres at key border crossing points as well as in Tourism Saskatchewan retail stores in Regina and Saskatoon and can be previewed online at www.wideopenfuture.ca.

"All along we've encouraged people to help us promote Saskatchewan as a place brimming with wide-open possibility and potential," Cline said. "These items are a fun and fashionable way of doing that."

Our Future is Wide Open is an extensive three-year marketing campaign to instill pride, build awareness and increase the visibility of Saskatchewan, as well as promote more business and investment in the province.
