SESSION BEGINS MARCH 18TH

Released on February 26, 2003

Premier Calvert today announced that the fourth session of the twenty-fourth legislature will begin with the Speech from the Throne on Tuesday, March 18th.

"An expanding economy, quality health care and education are top priorities for Saskatchewan people," Calvert said. "Our budget and our legislation will focus on these priorities."

"We will build on our strong job numbers, we'll build on our improvements to our health system, we'll build on our first class schools, we'll build on our reductions in social assistance, and we'll build on our expanded oil and gas sector to open the door to the future for Saskatchewan."
