PREMIER PROMOTES SASKATCHEWAN IN CALGARY

Saskatchewan is taking its wide-open future message out of the province to business audiences and potential investors as the second phase of the Our Future is Wide Open campaign gets under way.

Premier Lorne Calvert and Industry and Resources Minister Eric Cline are meeting with business leaders in Calgary as part of the three-year marketing campaign to instill pride, increase the visibility of Saskatchewan and promote more investment in the province.

"Our Future is Wide Open is changing the way people see Saskatchewan," Calvert said. "The message we have been delivering is about a province brimming with promise and prospects. We continue to see the momentum of an economy that's diversified and growing."

The premier said increasing the province's visibility requires a long-term, multi-faceted approach, which includes meeting with industry leaders in major Canadian cities.
