Darryl Bogdasavich, Q.C. has been appointed a judge of the Provincial

Court. Judge Bogdasavich is appointed to serve in Small Claims Court in

Regina.

His responsibilities will include a review of Small Claims Court in

Saskatchewan.

"Judge Bogdasavich has been responsible for providing general legal

services to all departments of the Government of Saskatchewan for almost 30

years," Justice Minister Chris Axworthy said. "His extensive knowledge of

civil and labour law will serve him very well in his new role."

Axworthy said the appointment of a judge dedicated solely to Small Claims

Court is an important step to strengthen the role of the Provincial Court

in resolving civil disputes.

Toronto in 1970 and was called to the bar in Saskatchewan in 1971. He

joined the Department of Justice as Crown Counsel in 1972. In 1984, Judge
