GRAND OPENING OF CASINO SHOW LOUNGE

The Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation is pleased to announce that Casino

Regina is celebrating the Grand Opening of its Show Lounge today---on its

6th Birthday.



"The addition of Casino Regina's new Show Lounge has created a lot of

excitement within the city," Minister Responsible for the Saskatchewan

Gaming Corporation Kim Trew said. "It's an incredible facility that has

already had a positive impact on our community. The Show Lounge further

enhances Regina's downtown and provides new entertainment opportunities for

both audiences and entertainers."



Regina's Globe Theatre produced the first show, A Closer Walk With Patsy

Cline which received rave reviews and sold-out on evening performances.



Tonight, country music singer Michelle Wright, Saskatchewan comedian Brent

Butt and the Wilkinson's will perform to a full house in what is

anticipated to be an exceptional evening of entertainment.



In February, the Show Lounge will be host to The Stephanie Thomson Band,

Charlie Major with opening artist Brad Johner, and Rory Allen to name a few.
