PREMIER'S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

Released on December 9, 2002

This holiday season I would like to extend my best wishes to the people of

Saskatchewan and share my enthusiasm as we look toward our Wide Open Future.

Christmas is a time to enjoy the company of our family and friends. We are

truly blessed to live in a province with such a high quality of life and so

many opportunities.

As we celebrate the holiday season, our thoughts ultimately turn to the

idea of home - a place where we can enjoy peace and harmony.

When I think of home, I think of Saskatchewan and how fortunate we are to

be living in one of the best places on earth.

Let us count our blessings, especially, to be living in a place where

people are free to fulfill their hopes and dreams. What we wish for

ourselves, may we wish for others around the world.

From my family to you and your family, our best wishes for joy and

happiness in this holiday season and throughout the coming year.

Season's greetings, and God Bless Saskatchewan.
