ROADWAY REPAIRS ANNOUNCED NEAR WAKAW

Motorists will soon notice road repairs underway along Highway 2 near

Wakaw. A 6.6 km paving project on Highway 2 north of Wakaw from the

junction of Highway 312 will begin in early August.



"This $660,000 project will use an estimated 20 jobs," Highways and

Transportation Minister Judy Bradley said. "Potzus Construction Ltd.

is expected to complete the work by September."



Bradley said an increase in Highways funding of $15 million this year

demonstrates a commitment to preserving the province's highway

network.
