Highways and Transportation Minister Judy Bradley today announced a8.6 km resurfacing project valued at $903,119 on Highway No. 1 from
7.5 km east of its Junction with Grid Road No. 630 on the west bound
lanes (between Webb and Swift Current).
"Highway work is still going on right across the province as we
continue working to meet our $2.5 billion over 10 years commitment to
improve our highways," Bradley said.
Morsky Construction Ltd. was awarded the contract as the lowest of six
bidders. An estimated 20 people will be employed on the project which
is expected to start in early October and to be completed by the end

"Our $219 million department budget has enabled us to enjoy a busy
construction and maintenance season," Bradley said. "I urge people to
continue using caution in orange zones and slow to 60 km/h."
