Health Minister Clay Serby today announced approval in principle forrenovations at the Moose Jaw Hospital. The project includes
renovations to various areas of the patient education centre,
respiratory therapy and observation unit.
"We are investing in quality health services," Serby said. "The
provincial contribution will be finalized once an agreement is reached
between the Moose Jaw - Thunder Creek Health District and Saskatchewan
Health."
Capital proposals are reviewed by a Capital Evaluation Committee that
includes staff from Saskatchewan Health and representatives of health
districts.
This year's capital budget is $44.9 million, including previously
announced and newly approved projects.
