Released on January 8, 1996

Joanne Crofford, the minister responsible for the Saskatchewan Gaming
Corporation, today announced Casino Regina will officially open to the
public Friday, January 26, 1996, with a special preview evening Thursday,
January 25, 1996.

"Casino Regina will be one of the finest full service casinos in Canada,"
Crofford said. "We look forward to the tremendous economic development

"Casino Regina offers 40 table games, a wide variety of electronic gaming
machines, an entertainment area, piano lounge, along with a restaurant
and gift shop," Crofford said. "We would like to extend an invitation to
the public to join us in unveiling the new casino in Regina's beautiful
Union Station."
