The program provided a payment to small businesses that were ordered to temporarily close or significantly curtail operations through a public health order to help control transmission of COVID-19. Payments were based on 15% of a business’s monthly revenue in either April 2019 or February 2020.

In response to COVID-19, the hours of service regulations for commercial truck drivers is being temporarily modified. As truck drivers are essential to the movement of goods they are also exempt from the 14-day isolation period after returning to Saskatchewan.
